Hello!
I hope 2009 is treating you all well! January is often a month of setting goals and thinking about the future; the current events of our time have prompted many to dig a little deeper, and really start to re-examining what the important things are in life. I did a little dreaming about the year ahead (well 11/12 of a year ahead) and wrote it down from the perspective of one year from now. You can have a read here if you like.
I started writing this newsletter while sitting in the passenger seat of the Norco Van while driving home northbound on the I-5 from California. I spend a week with the Norco PR Marketing guy Dustan Sept and team mate Darcy Turenne visiting mountain bike magazines and going riding with them. I thought it would be interesting for the readers of those magazines to see who was responsible for the pages they read, so I edited together a video blog from each to give you a taste:

If you live in Toronto and go to school, this message is for you. I’ll be heading your way to do demos at the Toronto International Bike Show, but while I’m in the area, I want to visit a school to perform a Trials of Life presentation. Which school that is I’ll leave up to you. So check out the details and rules, and then let me know why your school is a good candidate for a free presentation.
My buddy Alex Lavigne (director of Crux) edited together a video from our visit to Galiano Island, just off the coast from Vancouver. It was a little trials riding retreat we did last fall, and it was a blast, hope you enjoy it!
All the best,
Ryan
